Welcome to High Country Peruvians!

High Country Peruvians is a small family ranch that was started in 1977 by Hans & Margarete Noltner. In the 1980’s and 90’s Hans excelled in the show ring with the immediate offspring of Alenda Azul (this year she turned 30 years of age). These offspring are now retired from showing and are being ridden regularly on the local mountain trails.

Don & Susan have decided to continue with the family tradition. Following their plan to maintain a small herd and a selective breeding process they have realized very good results on the trail and showing . The latest being the great grand daughter of Alenda Azul, HCP Fantasia, winning 2009 PHCA Champion Junior Mare, 2009 PHCBC Reserve Champion Junior Mare and 2009 Canadian National Champion Junior Mare.

Located 10 minutes west of Salmon Arm BC in the Sunny Shuswap and just off the Trans Canada Highway, makes us very accessible from anywhere in BC, AB and the northwest USA.
